Over the last 18 months the NAAONB has delivered a series of funding workshops that have considered a range of approaches to securing additional funds, exploring the benefits and challenges for the AONB family.
The NAAONB secured some extra funding from DEFRA to explore in more detail the opportunities for AONBs to establish fund holding mechanisms and work through other charitable enterprises that will help deliver management plan objectives.  The workshop on 28th March 2012 in Birmingham was held to disseminate the findings to date and consider the implications for the NAAONB and AONB partnerships.
